The CV60 is one of Intermec's tried and true vehicle mount computer for deployment not only in vehicles, but also trailers, fork lifts, loading docks or warehouse floors. The emphasis here is on providing ready access to information via a reliable, touchscreen driven computer that can operate in a variety of adverse environments. The CV60 has a 12.1-inch SVGA (800 x 600 pixel) display that can be ordered, depending on its intended application, with a daylight-readable option or a heated display option. The housing is cast magnesium and the entire unit is sealed to IP65 specifications, which means it is totally protected against dust and also low pressure water jets from all directions.
An embedded 800MHz ultra low power Intel P-III processor runs either Windows CE.Net 4.2, Windows XP Pro or XP Embedded, depending on the application. The CV60 has onboard 802.11b/g WiFi, integrated Bluetooth, and a media bay for an IDE drive for use with XP Pro and XP Embedded. Customers can collect data by using a tethered or Bluetooth handheld scanner or a RFID reader with the CV60.
